Hello, I’m Jasmin

Thanks so much for being here and considering me to document your wedding.

I’m an all round people person - the one who always checks in first and knows what to say to help people relax. My favourite thing about photography is the people, learning more about your couple vibe and what you want your wedding to be about. I love taking a photo on the day and imagining it on your mantle or within a cute coffee table book.

My aim is to make working together as easy as possible. You can get in touch as much or as little as you like throughout the process and i’ll always be up for chatting all things wedmin.

I was born in South Africa but have lived in York for most of my life. I’m a massive foodie and my safe space is cuddled up with family after a beautiful meal with something silly on TV. Friends and Stranger Things are my all time faves.

When not working weddings I’m spending time with my family and friends. I love travel and my bucket list keeps getting bigger and bigger. I’m so grateful that my work takes me all around the world.

There are not enough words to describe just how amazing Jasmin is. She is everything we could of wished for and more. From our first virtual meeting it felt like we had known her for years, she just got us, our personalities, our vision, everything. Nick & I are quite camera shy and she unlocked another level of confidence in us. She guided us through the day and made us feel so relaxed and on cloud 9. The pictures couldn’t be anymore perfect, we’re obsessed and can’t stop looking at them. EVERYONE has commented how incredible the look!!! We would recommend Jasmin 1000x over. You’re so lucky if you have her to capture your day.

Where to start with Jasmin? From our Engagement/Pre-wedding shoot to the day itself we couldn’t have asked for more. We’d both been pretty nervous about being in front of a camera as neither of us are typically the type to jump at the chance to have our picture taken. Just from our consultation and messaging beforehand, Jasmin put us both at ease and we knew we were in safe hands. We had our album back so quickly and fell in love straight away. So much so, we headed out to get some shots printed and hung the same day. We had nothing but compliments from family and friends on every single picture and we just knew our wedding pictures would be exactly what we were after. Well we weren’t disappointed. Leading up to the big day we had a phone call with Jasmin, going over the particulars and what we really wanted captured and she got it all 100% right. Going through our album is like reliving the day all over again and what a day it was. Jasmin fitted right in with all of our family and friends, getting involved with the banter and being the most helpful friend I didn’t know I needed on the day. Jasmin helped with the simplest of things from grabbing glasses for our morning toast, to helping to take out my veil and put me at ease for all of our pictures (even when everyone else takes their time heading over for the group pics)! All of our pictures are absolutely stunning and not a single thing was missed. If you are after a photographer who will genuinely be a friend to you, put you at ease and capture your day perfectly.. Jasmin is the photographer for you. We couldn’t recommend her enough.

Jasmin was by far the best photographer we could have ever dreamt off. From the first message to after the wedding was over, she was just amazing. She made us feel so relaxed in front of the camera and felt like a real friend throughout the whole process! The pre wedding photoshoot was an amazing bonus too! And our wedding photos are just a total dream, I could never thank jasmin enough for everything she did for us. On our actual wedding day she went above and beyond expectations and was not just a photographer but may aswell have been an additional bridesmaid, she helped with so much and I could never ever thank her enough ❤️

Jasmin was an incredible wedding photographer. I feel like we struck absolute GOLD finding her! I must have viewed hundreds of wedding photographers and nothing at all jelled with me until I found Jasmin and her classy elegant and stylish photos. Our pictures turned out exactly as I’d dreamed. She is extremely professional and talented, just watching our film we can see the moments she captured which happened in a split second and these were some of our favourite pictures. Everybody needs a Jasmin at their wedding! From the moment we spoke on our initial zoom call we new she was going to be great and make us feel really comfortable in front of the camera, something neither of us are used to. Jasmin really listened to what we wanted and gave us loads of direction for the photos and made it a really fun experience. We didn't once feel like we were being taken away from the party and had a so much fun getting pictures with friends. The pictures speak for themselves, not to brag but we look great! We could honestly not be happier with our pictures from both our registry office wedding and the big day, they completely exceeded our expectations. We've only received our sneak peak pictures and I cannot wait to see the rest! Thank you Jasmin for capturing our wedding day so perfectly, we wouldn't change a thing.
